In the almost 5 years The Professor and I have been married, we have been able to do many things together and accomplish many goals and dreams together. However, until this week, there is one thing we had never done. Until this week, we had never lived anywhere for a year. The longest we have ever lived somewhere was 9 months. We have now set a record, that for a while I thought would never be set. We have lived in one place for a year! Yes, that is right! The Professor and I have managed to figure out how to stay in one place for a lengthy period of time, well lengthy for us that is.
We moved into our lovely little (and trust me it is little) town home this week last year. We decided to move this week, because it would give us about 7 weeks to get settled before The Little One arrived (I was due May 3). As most of you know, however, we did not get that 7 weeks. The Little One only gave us 2 weeks. Oh well, we made it anyway.
Happy Anniversary to my little town home! We made it a year! Hopefully only one more year to go!

We lived in an apartment for 11 months. We lived in a small 1500 square foot house at 1923 Lincolnshire Blvd. for 6 years. Both kids were born when we lived there. For almost a whole year, LouLou shared our room. She had one drawer and about 12 inches worth of closet space. We moved to this house 2 weeks before her first birthday. So that means we have lived here for almost 8 years. Seems like it is about time for us to move!

i do not think we have ever lived in anything over 1200 sq feet. we will not know what to do with ourselves when we get a house one day, hopefully next year when lee has a real job. :-) he has a real job now...but you know what i mean...a job that is not just a job to get through school. and, actually, yes we will know what to do...we are already making plans! we are going to be able to spread out!!! the countdown has begun!!
We moved into this house when Kat was 5 months old...the same month Anna was ummm....created. Jimmy is now afraid to ever move again. We have been here 11 years. I don't see us moving any time soon. I love this house.

We will be married 9 years in May and we have had 4 homes. Our first in California and the next three in three different places in Latvia. Heaven help us if I had to list the many houses we house-sat while 'hanging out' here in America. Those don't count though. And, who knows what will happen when our lease is up after another year. We may be pushed into another place. So, hang pictures, make memories, raise kids and have a blast wherever you are! Love ya.
that's the stuff memories are made of - small apartments, kids being born, sharing your closet with everyone else in the family....oh yeah, that's good stuff!
we moved into our 'starter home' when you were 4 and we're still there....i guess still waitin' to finish starting!
